Community Involvement

Manassas Allstate agent - Cougar RunAs local insurance agents, we love volunteering in the Manassas and Chantilly communities.  We especially support:

  • education,
  • domestic violence intervention,
  • teen safe driving, and
  • those less fortunate in our communities.

Teen Safe Driving

If you are interested in holding an  X the TXT event at your lInsurance_Manassas_VA_OsbournParkHSocal high school or community, please contact us.  At these events, drivers take a pledge not to text while driving.  Car accidents are a top killer of teenagers and we would like to help reduce this problem by encouraging avoiding distractions while driving, safe speeds, and wearing seat belts.

Domestic Violence Intervention

The Allstate Foundation’s commitment of giving to others makes us proud to be Allstate agents.   The Allstate Foundation has created the Purple Purse initiative.  A purse represents the center of a Manassas_Insurance_Agent_Presetning_Purple_Pursewoman’s financial domain and purple is the national color of domestic violence. By making it fashionable to talk about the issue, The Allstate Foundation has joined with Allstate agency owners and nonprofit organizations to help victims gain control of their purse strings and their lives.   Limited edition purple purses designed by television star and fashion icon, Kerry Washington, have been presented to community leaders at events across the country.  We were fortunate to be able to present Terri Lamb, President of the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders Alumni Association with one of the purple purses.  Now purplepurse.com is one of the targeted charities of this group and the National Football Cheerleaders Association.

Helping Neighbors in Need

Chantilly_Home_Insurance_Agent_Volunteering_SERVE NVFS SERVE in Manassas, VA provides food, shelter, and other services to local families in need.  Our agencies have helped cook at the monthly Friends of SERVE Sunday brunches.  We have also collected food and helped “stuff the truck” to collect food after the Thanksgiving food drive.  Christine joined the board of Friends of SERVE in January 2016.
